Awkwafina
Awkwafina was initially a American musician and rapper making sly songs that addressed questions of race and sexuality with a humorous twist. Before expanding into Hollywood the singer was able to release a number of songs. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living from Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was from the trumpet. Then, she started the classical and hip-hop genres. Concentrating on school she studied journalism as well as women's studies, and was learning Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. Her focus shifted to music once she completed her degree. Her track My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a viral hit on the Internet and later appeared on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. The album also featured popular hits, including the body positive Queef as well as the cheeky hometown tour NYC Bitche$1. The track that was second on the album linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, published in 2015, which was an additional idea. Apart from having a book published as well, she also worked as a performer. In addition to early shows like Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies like Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she scored a number of major roles like Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
